General Terms and Conditions for Wild Adventures
1. Booking and Payment:

Booking of experience is done on request. Contact Malin: malin@vildadventures.fi

After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation and the opportunity to choose a payment method.

Payment can be made by invoice or by card upon arrival.
2. Cancellation and changes:
-
Cancellation must be made in writing by the booking manager by sending an email to malin@vildadventures.fi containing information about the booking in question and the name of the participant to be cancelled.

Cancellation up to 72 hours before the booked experience is charged 0%.

Cancellation up to 48 hours before the booked experience will be charged 50%.

Cancellation less than 24 hours before the booked experience will be charged 100%.

Special booking conditions for groups:
-
Free cancellation and modification of the experience up to 30 days before the booked experience.

If the experience is cancelled more than 21 days before the booked experience, 50% will be charged.

If the experience is cancelled less than 15 days before the booked experience, 100% will be charged.

Vilda Adventures reserves the right to cancel an activity if the number of registered participants is too small. The activity can also be cancelled in case of illness (of the guide) or force majeure.

Force majeure means unusual, unforeseen and unavoidable events that are beyond the organiser's control and prevent the experience, product or contract from being carried out. Circumstances that the organiser could not, within reasonable limits, have foreseen and therefore could not avoid or master.

In the case of an activity cancelled by Vilda Adventures, the participants are primarily rebooked to another date. The choice of replacement date is made in consultation with the guest. If rebooking cannot be done, there is no payment obligation for registered guests.
3. Safety and Responsibility:

The client is expected to follow all safety instructions and requirements given by the guide.

Wild Adventures is not responsible for personal property during activities.

Vilda Adventures has liability insurance that covers personal injury and property damage caused to another person as a result of defects in the company's products or inadequate safety in the company.
4. Additional information:

Outdoor activities are weather sensitive. If Wild Adventures has to cancel due to extreme weather, an alternative activity or adaptation of the activity suitable for the situation will be implemented. Please note that changes can be made at very short notice, even on the same day as your experience.

Vilda Adventures reserves the right to change prices, times, payment methods, booking and discount conditions. Prices for upcoming seasons are always preliminary and are subject to change.
5. Your responsibility as a customer:

Make sure the contact details you give us are correct, they are the only way we can contact you. Make sure you are contactable especially on the day of your experience.

Please read your booking confirmation carefully and ensure that all times and dates as well as products and services correspond to what you ordered in your booking. If not - please contact Malin at malin@vildadventures.fi to correct errors and misunderstandings immediately.

Make sure to follow the rules and instructions given for the experiences. You are responsible for any damage that your or your company's possible negligence may have on Vilda Adventures property or services.

The customer is responsible for informing of any health problems or restrictions that may affect participation in activities. Please advise what special needs you may have and require when booking.

In case of serious violations of the terms and conditions, Vilda Adventures reserves the right to terminate services for the customer without refund.

The Customer accepts that personal data is stored and used in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.
By using our services, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these general terms and conditions.

Food handling
Food Handling and Safety Policy for Vilda Adventures

Vilda Adventures is committed to ensuring the safety and quality of the food we offer in connection with our adventure activities. Our food handling follows the guidelines established by the Finnish Food Agency and aims to create a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
Below are our main principles for food handling:
1. Safe Storage and Transport:
We store and transport food according to recommended temperatures and conditions to prevent contamination and ensure product shelf life. Food is packed in clean packaging, which is only intended for food.
3. Hygienic cooking in nature
3.1 Hand washing: During outdoor cooking, it is the customer's own responsibility to follow the hygiene recommendations given by the guide. We provide hand disinfection and possibilities for hand washing with soap. Hands must always be washed before cooking and eating and after going to the toilet. Also wash your hands during cooking.
3.2 Different tools for preparing different dishes: Different vessels and cutting boards are used for different purposes to ensure a safe and hygienic cooking environment.
3.3 Water: Clean drinking water is used for cooking.
3. Allergy considerations:
We take allergies and intolerances into account.
4. Emergencies and First Aid:
The guide is trained in first aid to deal with emergency situations and has access to first aid equipment to be able to act quickly if necessary.

Digital Policy for Consulting Services for your own adventure
1. Purpose:
1.1 This digital policy aims to clarify the framework and division of responsibilities for the digital consulting services offered by Vilda Adventures for your own hike or adventure.
2. Scope of Services:
2.1 Our digital consultation services focus solely on the planning phase of your hiking experience. You get advice, information and guidance to help you plan and prepare for your own hike or adventure.
3. Responsibility:
3.1 Vilda Adventures takes no responsibility for the actual hiking activities. The customer is responsible for conducting their own trip, including navigation, safety and compliance with local laws.
4. Limitations:
4.1 Vilda Adventures role is limited to providing consultation and information based on available knowledge and cannot predict changes in weather conditions, terrain or other factors that may affect your trek.
5. User responsibility:
5.1 The customer is responsible for evaluating their own physical ability and equipment and making informed decisions based on their own judgment and needs.
6. Consent:
67.1 By using Vilda Adventures consulting services, the customer confirms their full agreement that Vilda Adventures has no responsibility for their own hiking and outdoor activities.
7. Privacy:
7.1 Any personal data shared in connection with the consulting services will be processed according to Vilda Adventure's privacy policy.
